Three ceiling lights made of Koide-washi, japanese Kôzo-paper manufactured by Keizo Watanabe,
for "the room of silence", Inselspital ICU-newbuilding Bern.
By order of the architect's office Patrick Thurston, she has realized these lights with the hint of the japanese
drum-making know-how. Due to its hard-wearing material similar to leather, the paper could be stretched
tight on the huge wood-frame, as if by a percussion instrument. A skillful interplay between shadow and depth.
